When submitting documents for admission to a university, it is important to follow all the rules and recommendations set forth by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and higher education institutions.
Applicants in 2024 must submit documents for admission to higher education institutions exclusively in electronic format, except for certain categories of persons defined at the legislative level in the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 276.
What documents are required for university admission in 2024?
In order to apply electronically, you need to register a personal electronic account.
During registration, the following data is entered:
- email address;
- login password;
- number and series of the document on education (certificate, diploma);
- number, PIN and year of receipt of the external independent evaluation certificate (hereinafter referred to as the EIE certificate) / NMT certificate / examination paper received during registration for the EMI / EHEA;
- type, series (if any) and number of the identity document or registration number of the taxpayer's account card (RNOKPP) (in the absence of EIE certificates / NMT certificate / EMI / EHEA examination paper);
- details of documents confirming the grounds for special conditions for participation in the admission campaign, information about which is available in state registers.
Applicants for higher education submit applications.
In electronic form through the applicant's personal electronic account, except when:
- Submission of documents by foreigners and stateless persons, except for persons with a permanent residence permit in Ukraine and persons documented by a certificate of a person in need of additional protection or a refugee certificate;
- Submission of a foreign document on education.
- Submission of a document on previously obtained education issued before the introduction of photopolymer technologies for their production.
- Submission of an application for admission before or after the deadlines for the operation of electronic offices of applicants established by this Procedure.
- Only in paper form if it is not possible to register a personal electronic account of the applicant.
- Documents to be submitted in person to the university admissions office:
- Passport or other identity document.
- Military ID card, military registration card or temporary ID card.
- Certificate of secondary education and its supplement.
- Certificate of EIT/NMT.
- A document confirming the right to be admitted based on the results of an interview, exams or quotas.
- Four 3x4 colour photographs.
In addition to the originals, you must have copies of your passport, school certificate and military ID.
Admission to a higher education institution is a rather stressful process, starting from choosing an institution, to submitting documents and being accepted for study. It is necessary to familiarise yourself with the list of required documents in advance, as well as check the documents for validity, quality, etc.
