Currently, applicants are actively taking exams for admission to bachelor's and master's programmes. Ahead lies an equally important stage: choosing a university and preparing to submit documents to obtain the desired education. The applicant's future largely depends on how successfully this stage is completed. Therefore, it is important to take a responsible approach to collecting all the necessary documents and submitting them to the chosen higher education institution on time.

What should you pay special attention to? What documents are required for admission? When does the admission campaign officially start? We will discuss this in more detail below.

Admission to bachelor's programmes in 2025: what do you need to prepare?

To apply for a bachelor's degree in 2025, applicants need to prepare a standard set of documents, which is no different from last year's. However, it is not worth postponing the preparation, as the absence of even one certificate can complicate the application process.

Required documents:

  1. Passport of a citizen of Ukraine (or ID card with an extract from the register).
  2. Identification code.
  3. Document of complete secondary education (certificate) with an appendix.
  4. NMT certificate.
  5. 4–6 colour photographs, 3×4 cm in size.
  6. Military registration document (for men – draft card or military ID).
  7. Documents confirming the right to benefits (if necessary).

After collecting all the documents, you need to register an electronic applicant's account on the EDEBO website – most applications are submitted through it.

Is it possible to submit documents for admission in paper form?

According to the regulations, applications for admission must be submitted exclusively in electronic format using the applicant's personal account. However, those who are unable to register can submit a package of documents in paper form. This category includes:

  • foreigners and stateless persons (except those who have a permanent residence permit in Ukraine);
  • persons who submit documents on education obtained abroad;
  • applicants who submit documents on education issued before the introduction of photopolymer technologies;
  • candidates who submit their applications outside the established deadlines for electronic offices;
  • those who, for other valid reasons, are unable to register an electronic office or submit an application online, as confirmed by a relevant certificate from the admissions committee of the higher education institution.

One of the key aspects that influence the success of admission is the quality of document preparation and adherence to established deadlines. The main thing is not to put off preparation until the last moment, familiarise yourself with the requirements of the chosen university in advance, check the deadlines and advice of the admissions committee.
